Question. Give us the elevator pitch for your project.
Answer. BIG EYE CHUNGUS is an all-new OSR zine dedicated to the grooviest fantasy monster to ever float through the halls of a dungeon. This zine is a brand new take on an old favorite, compatible with the world's most popular roleplaying game and all its retroclones.
Q. Have you participated in ZineQuest before?
A. This is the third Zinequest I have supported and my fourth offering. I did two projects for ZQ last year! My previous offerings have been The Phylactery series and Magic & Shit.
Q. Tell us what really excites you about your project.
A. BIG EYE CHUNGUS is an homage to one of the greatest monsters in fantasy roleplaying. The cover to cover art by Cheese Hasselberger is absolutely fantastic and he has absolutely packed this zine full of cool illustrations. There are no wasted pages and no empty space. This whole book is a visual feast for the eyes and I think readers will see the subtle, underlying humor that he uses in his art to keep things light, fresh and interesting. There's literally never a dull moment in this zine.
