Aquilus is a quarterly OSR zine for use with traditional role-playing games and their modern editions. 
Issue 1 highlights the remote village of Ager Sonus, with descriptions of seventeen keyed locations. Also in this issue are a number of ideas that relate to the greater campaign setting of Aquilus, including random tables, new magic items, faction rumors, a new beast, and stats for a major NPC. Compatible with RPG rule systems such as OD&D, B/X, AD&D 1e, LoTFP, S&W, LL, OSE, etc.
